Coffee and berry fruit flavours backed by undertones of, mulberry and plums provide the distinctive mouth feel for this Barbera. There
are aromas of clove and oriental spice from maturation in American oak and natural acidity and tannin structure are significant features.

John Lewis wine writer for the Newcastle Herald describes this 4 glass wine as ruby red colour, bringing forth scents of bramble jelly and bay leaf and zips onto the front palate with ripe blackberry flavour. Blueberry and cloves fruit characters integrate with restrained coconutty oak and the finish delivers earthy tannins.
