This regional event is now one of the three major events of the Broke Fordwich Wine Region. Catherine Vale is one of the nine participants. This Hunter Valley Italian Festival is designed to spoil your senses and warm your heart.

Join us at Catherine Vale over the weekend of March 31 and April 1st to experience the essence of what it means to be Italian.

We have a fabulous line-up of attractions and activities again this year.

Catherine Vale Vineyard.

JOIN US FOR BREAKFAST EACH MORNING FROM 9 a.m.

• Bocce games will be held on both days. Local clubs will be holding tournaments, and there will be a chance to try this great game yourself. Come and play or watch this popular Italian recreation. Please ring Wendy if you’re interested in knowing more on 6579 1334.

• Wine tasting of the full Catherine Vale range. In particular, we’re the only local producer of two Italian grape varieties, Dolcetto and Arneis. Also try our Barbera.

• Enjoy our roving musicians, Ricardo and Alfredo, from The Caballeros daily. Bring your singing voices and join in.

• Renowned puppeteer Dennis of Murphy’s Puppets will bring the skills of one of the greatest puppeteers in the world to Catherine Vale. Puppet shows at 11:30 and 2 p.m.

• The Italian Gardener will bring his vegetable and herb seeds form Franchi Sementi, one of the largest seed producers in Italy. Learn to grow vegetables you can’t find in the supermarket. Geoff will be selling seeds and also do a food demonstration at 1 p.m. each day. www.theitaliangardener.com.au
